In the 2022 "Chain War Storm" 5th National University Students' Smart Supply Chain Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge sponsored by China General Chamber of Commerce, a group of undergraduate students and a group of junior college students from International College of GCC stood out from 730 registered contestants across the country and won two second prizes and one third prize. This competition was intensive in training and spanned two months. Teachers led the participating students through fierce competition and finally won fruitful results.
 
Teachers Huang Xiaojuan and Long Xiangyu guided the team "Sisters Are Always Right" composed of Huang Haoyu, Liao Tu Tu, Xie Zhiqi and Dong Le and they won the second prize in the undergraduate group of the competition. Under the guidance of teachers Wang Baixun and Xiong Shiwei, the team "Dora Loves Adventure" composed of Fan Lvqing, Chen Yiting, Zou Jiangbin and Huang Haiqing won the second prize in the junior college group of the competition. Teachers Zhao Wenjuan and Xiong Shiwei guided the “No.1 Team” composed of Wu Zihan, Wang Yanya, Wen Tingyu and Yu Zixi and they won the third prize in the junior college group of the competition. All five tutors won the Excellent Tutor Award.
 
This competition is sponsored by China General Chamber of Commerce and undertaken by China Commercial Occupational Skill Testing and Instruction Center, Shanghai Yihe Education Technology Co., Ltd. and other units. Shanghai Baidee Education Technology Co., Ltd. provides technical support. Relying on ISCM, the supply chain is cut into by the roles of manufacturers, distributors, retailers and logistics providers, and the supply chain is managed and operated from the aspects of cognition, construction, operation, coordination and optimization. Through three stages of professional skill evaluation, operational confrontation and scheme planning with trial defense, the participants are trained to have integrated thoughts on supply chain, management and operation ability, communication and coordination capability and overall concept of innovation and entrepreneurship under the panoramic supply chain business ecological environment. The competition promotes the professional construction of supply chain in colleges and universities and cultivate talents.
