On May 19th, the round-table forum of inter-school cooperation and exchange which is one of the series of activities for the 20th anniversary of the international education of GCC, was held in the Second Administrative Building, Room 208. Li Junpeng, General Secretary of the Party Branch of International College, Long Haiying and Hong Zhenhua, Vice Deans of International College, Assistant Dean Li Cailing, Foreign Affairs Director Zhang Bing, Foreign Affairs Commissioner Wu Chenfei and representatives of 10 overseas colleges and universities attended the forum and exchanged views. Representatives of universities and colleges attending this event are from the University of Western Australia, Deakin University, Edith Cowan University, Brunel University London, University of East Anglia, University of Strathclyde, University of Leicester, Sophia University in Japan, Kyushu University, and the University of Nottingham in Malaysia.

     At the meeting, Li Junpeng expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the universities representatives who came from afar to attend the 20th anniversary of GCC international education. Li said that this round-table forum provided a platform for exchanges and cooperation between GCC and universities at home and abroad. He hopes everyone can speak freely and communicate sincerely in this forum, actively broaden the field of cooperative education, and promote the high-quality development of GCC's international education.

     Long Haiying said that during the 20 years of GCC internationalization, the college has developed a mature, efficient and diversified cooperation mode with universities and colleges at home and abroad and has trained a group of high-quality talents with international visions. GCC hopes to further strengthen interaction and cooperation with universities at home and abroad in academic exchanges, collaborative teaching, research and visiting.

Hong Zhenhua said that this forum will further promote the introduction of high-quality educational resources into GCC, and help the college expand the level and improve the mode of international education. With the attitude of "striving for excellence", the whole college will consolidate the foundation of international education, make every effort to build an international brand of GCC, help students go from GCC to the world, and contribute to social and economic development.

      At the forum, the representatives of overseas colleges and universities introduced their campus environment, dominant majors, language requirements, education programs at home and abroad, and the employment and development of graduates through slides. The two parties at the forum had in-depth exchanges, made efforts to reach a consensus on cooperation, and established a good foundation for the further development of cooperative relations.
