In order to follow and implement the arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on "stabilizing employment" and "ensuring employment", seize the critical period of promoting employment at the beginning of the semester in spring, and pay close attention to the employment of the 2023 graduates, on May 7th, a spring campus job fair for the 2023 graduates was held on the ground floor of the ninth teaching building, hosted by the Career Guidance Center of GCC and organized by the International College.
The job fair invited 26 enterprises located in the Pearl River Delta, covering foreign trade, finance, logistics, education and other industries, involving e-commerce, marketing, finance, translation, teaching and training and other different types of jobs, providing 330 jobs for graduates. At the job fair, the participating enterprises recruited talents by receiving resumes and interviewing on the spot. In addition to attract more graduates of this year, some enterprises have also provided enough internship to fully meet the employment and internship needs of graduates and college students.
This job fair has been highly valued and strongly supported by the school leaders and the Career Guidance Center. Guo Hang, vice president of GCC, came to the job fair and communicated in-depth with the participating enterprises, consulted employers' opinions on talent training mode, and recommended the college and the graduates. Teachers from the Career Guidance Center and the counselors from the graduating classes of the International College also came to the job fair to communicate with the graduates, to better understand students' employment intentions and existing difficulties, and to help graduates establish the concept of “getting a job before choosing a job, and of striving to seize opportunities of being employed.
