At noon on September 15th, 2022, the working meeting for foreign teachers at the beginning of the semester was held in Room 202, International Building. The meeting aims to improve the management of foreign teachers in the College, strengthen mutual communication and understanding, and enhance the employment effectiveness of foreign teachers.

     At the beginning of the meeting, everyone extended a warm welcome to Dean Anthony Granitsas from US, and Yves Hakimian from Canada for joining the International College. Then, Ms. Shou Suyan conveyed the detailed rules of the daily management of foreign teachers in the College. Participants studied the Constitution of People's Republic of China, Entry and Exit Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases and other relevant laws and regulations. Finally, vice dean Long Haiying made a concluding speech, thanking foreign teachers for their contribution to the College, and putting forward specific requirements for teaching.

     This meeting was the first meeting for foreign teachers to communicate at the beginning of this semester. They actively offered suggestions and advice on life and teaching at the meeting. Foreign teachers are an important part of the faculty construction in the College. Mutual understanding and good communication will help the College to learn from international advanced educational concepts and management experience and create a strong academic atmosphere and diverse campus culture.

    Through the meeting, for one thing, foreign teachers had a deeper understanding of the basic situation of the College and the requirements of their teaching tasks, which enhanced mutual understanding between both sides and promoted the smooth development of teaching work. For another, it has further enhanced the cultural exchange atmosphere between the two sides and built a good communication bridge between China and foreign countries.
