In order to thoroughly implement the party's education policy, carry out the fundamental task of cultivating talents with morality, further consolidate the results of academic atmosphere building, and establish a long-term mechanism, the International Collegeheld a meeting to promote academic atmosphere building for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. This conference responded to CCC’s arrangements for academic atmosphere building and the meeting was organized in the conference room 202 of the International College building on February 26. The Secretary of the Party Committee of the International College, Zhong Yuanhui, Vice Dean Yang Yueqing, as well as all counselors and academic affairs staff attended the meeting, which was chaired by Zhong Yuanhui.

At the beginning of the meeting, Yang Yueqing made a comprehensive summary of the achievements in academic atmosphere building in the previous semester. She affirmed the significant achievements made by the "teacher-counselor collaboration" strategy, also deeply analyzed the shortcomings of this measure, and made detailed arrangements for the academic atmosphere building work of this semester, requiring all members to strictly follow the academic atmosphere building plan of the college to ensure the smooth completion of various tasks.

Zhong Yuanhui emphasized the work requirements for teachers to set a good example and take the lead. He required teachers to implement class attendance rates and attentiveness rates, and ensure the effectiveness of students' class attendance. He stated that strengthening academic atmosphere building and creating a good academic atmosphere is key to creating a good learning environment for students. The effectiveness of academic atmosphere building is directly related to the improvement of the quality of talent training and management level in the college. Zhong Yuanhui emphasized that academic atmosphere building is a long-term and systematic project that must start from teaching, learning, and management, continuously strengthen institutional building, and strive to improve the long-term mechanism of academic atmosphere building.
