On the evening of September 14, to enhance the awareness and capabilities of the 2023 freshmen in preventing telecommunications network fraud, and to build a solid campus security line against fraud, the International College invited police officers from the Longhu Police Station of Huangpu District to the school to give a lecture on freshmen safety and anti-fraud education. This lecture was held in seven sessions, attended by all freshmen of the International College in 2023 and their counselors.

During the lectures, the police officers first reported on the current high incidence of fraud cases in China. Through video demonstrations and case analysis, they introduced the students to the cases of fraud in northern Myanmar and real cases in the school, analyzing the types and common methods, harm and prevention methods of campus fraud. The police officers also reminded students to attach importance to network security, download the National Anti-Fraud Center APP（国家反诈中心APP） to prevent fraud calls and information harassment, maintain rationality at all times, recognize the harm of fraud, and prevent fraud events from the root. After the lecture, the International College organized all freshmen to sign a commitment to fight fraud, embedding the principles of anti-fraud and fraud prevention in their minds.
