On October 20th, the student meeting for the cooperation project between Guangzhou Business College and the University of Adelaide was successfully held. The meeting took place in Lecture Hall 201 of Building 8. The University of Adelaide delegation included Vice President Jessica Gallagher, Director of Future Students Department Shirley Chung;Vice President of Guangzhou Business College Guo Hang, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the International College Zhong Yuanhui, Vice Deans of the International College Yang Yueqing and Hong Zhenhua, were present at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yang Yueqing.
Vice President Guo Hang emphasized the importance of studying in Adelaide in his speech, mentioning that students will gain cutting-edge academic concepts and high-quality teaching resources. Jessica Gallagher welcomed students to study and exchange at the University of Adelaide, hoping they would become part of a diverse community and enjoy excellent teaching facilities and sufficient support services. Mathew White encouraged students to become lifelong learners, apply what they learn in practice, and become professional talents.
As a student representative from the 2022 Finance major, Liu Hao shared his learning experience at GCC and expressed his expectations for studying in Adelaide in the future and enhancing cross-cultural communication skills.
Finally, there was interactive communication between teachers and students. The delegation provided detailed answers to students' concerns about issues such as studying abroad accommodations, food, safety, and warmly welcomed new students who will soon be studying at the University of Adelaide. The atmosphere at the event was warm and lively.
